| Can I use ViaGPS on T200/300/400/500 units? |
| Unfortunately no, ViaGPS is compatible only with Magellan Triton 1500 and 2000 units. |
| Can I use large SDHC cards for storing ViaGPS software ? |
We recommends regular non-HC SD cards ( 2Gb or 4Gb ) because of the compatibility issues with some new fast and large SDHC cards. You can test yout SDHC card by downloading our software for extracting SD serial number: How to get SD serial number: |
| Did ViaGPS support voice guidance ? |
| Yes, ViaGPS support voice guidance thanks to Triton's support for sound and speaker. |
| Which languages are supported ? |
| Currently ViaGPS supports 31 languages and voices, please look at http://www.topomap.hr/cbe_NA_en.html for list of supported languages. |
| Could I break my GPS with using ViaGPS software ? |
| No, ViaGPS software and maps are completely located on SD card so there are no modification of original Magellan software. If you encounter problem while using ViaGPS sofware, just remove ViaGPS SD card and after reboot yourTriton will be in original shape. |
| Could I copy my ViaGPS installation to other SD card ? |
| ViaGPS will work only on SD card which you register when you purchase ViaGPS software. |
| Can I make a back copy of my ViaGPS software to PC ? |
| Yes, and we strongly recommend you to do that in case that you accidentally delete the ViaGPS on your SD card. Later you can copy back ViaGPS to the registered SD card. |
| What about upgrades ? |
We have to distinguished ViaGPS software and maps. The ViaGPS sofware upgrades will be free of charge. The maps upgrade will be charged. |
| What SD cards are recommended ? |
| As for size, we recommend minimum 2 Gb cards, since NA versions requires about 1.5 Gb of space, and Europe versions requires 1.8 Gb of space. However, if you want to keep on the same card other kind of maps ( ... topo, raster ... ) or mp3, photos, then take larger card. |
